BUTTER MURUKKU

INGREDIENTS


RICE FLOUR- 1 CUP




GRAM FLOUR- 1/4 CUP


ROASTED GRAM DAL POWDER-2TBSP


CUMIN SEEDS-1 TSP


ASAFOETIDA- 1/2 TSP


BUTTER- 4 TSP


OIL FOR FRYING, SALT TO TASTE.






METHOD


In a bowl add all the flour cumin seeds,salt,butter and water and mix to little tight dough using little water.Place the dough in a murukku maker. Heat oil in a kadai and when it is hot gently make murkkus and do not turn immediately in oil as it will break. Wait for few seconds till the murukku turns brown in colour and then flip it to other side.
