LEMON VERMICELLI UPMA


 INGREDIENTS

VERMICILLI- 3 CUPS

WATER- 3 CUPS

ONION- 2 NOS

GREEN CHILIES- 3 NOS

RED CHILIES- 2 NOS

CURRY LEAVES- 1 SPRIG

ASAFOETIDA- 1/2 TSP

TURMERIC POWDER-1/2 TSP

MUSTARD- 1 TSP

GRAM DHAL- 1 1/2 TSP

URAD DHAL- 1 1/2  TSP

GROUNDNUT- 4 TSP


LEMON JUICE - 4 TSP

OIL- 2 TBSP

SALT ACCORDING TO TASTE





PREPARATION

In a pan add heat 3 tbsp oil add mustard, when it splutters add urad dhal, gram dhal,red chilies,grounnuts,asafoetida,turmeric powder then add chopped onion saute well till it turns translucent, add green chilies then add the vermicili saute for 2 minutes.In a separate vessel boil water along with salt.Add the boiled water over the vermicilli and stir till the vermicili is cooked.Switch off the stove add lemon juice and mix well
