
INGREDIENTS
TOOR DAL- 4 TSP
GRAM DAL- 4 TSP
RED CHILLIES- 6-7 NOS
CUMIN SEEDS- 1 TSP,
SALT TO TASTE
.
CLEANED AND CHOPPED BANANA FLOWER- 1 NUMBER.
SALT TO TASTE,TURMERIC POWDER-1/4 TSP
SEASONING-OIL-1 TBSP, MUSTARD-1 TSP, ASAFOETIDA- 1/2 TSP,CURRY LEAVES- 1 TSP
METHOD
Clean banana flower and chop it. Soak the chopped flower overnight in water with 3-4 tsps of curd.Drain the water and wash the contents throughly for 2 times. Now boil the chopped flower in fresh water till it softens. Soak gram dal,toor dal for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes drain the water and grind the lentils along with red chillies and cumin seeds to thick paste using very little water.In a pan heat oil add mustard when it splutters add curry leaves,asafoetida. Over this add lentil paste,turmeric powder and salt and saute till it reaches crumble consistency. Add boiled banana flower over this and mix well.
