BEETROOT STIR FRY





INGREDIENTS

BEETROOT- 500 GRAMS

ONION- 2 NOS

URAD DHAL- 1 TSP

OIL- 2 TBSP

MUSTARD-1 TSP

CUMIN SEEDS- 1 TSP

ASAFOETIDA-3/4 TSP

CURRY LEAVES-1 SPRIG

SAMBAR POWDER- 3 TSP

GRATED COCONUT-2 TBSP

SALT ACCORDING TO TASTE

PREPARATION

Wash ,chop and boil beetroot and keep it aside.In a pan heat oil add mustard when it starts to crackle add cumin seeds,urad dhal,asafoetida,curry leaves,chopped onion,salt and saute well till the onion turns translucent now add boiled beetroot over  it mix well add sambar powder,and grated coconut and stir well for 2 minutes and switch off.
