COWPEA BEANS TANGY CURRY


INGREDIENTS TO GRIND                                                                        
COCONUT GRATED- 1 TBSP

RED CHILIES- 6 NOS

MUSTARD- 1 TSP

TAMARIND- GOOSEBERRY SIZED                         

JAGGERY POWDERED- 1 1/2 TSP

OTHER INGREDIENTS

COWPEA BEANS- 300 GRAMS




TURMERIC POWDER-1/2 TSP

SALT ACCORDING TO TASTE


SEASONING

OIL- 1 1/2 TBSP

MUSTARD- 1 TSP

URAD DHAL- 1 TSP

CURRY LEAVES

ASAFOETIDA- 1 TSP



PREPARATION

Grind all the ingredients in raw form( in the column to grind) using little water to fine paste.Wash and chop the beans to small pieces.Boil the beans using little water and salt till the veggie is cooked.In a pan heat oil add mustard when it splutters add urad dhal when the dhal turns golden brown add asafoetida,curry leaves, then add the ground paste add salt,turmeric powder and saute well till the raw smell goes off .At last add the boiled beans over the paste and stir well for 2 minutes and switch off.
