I have prepared many dishes using raw banana or plantain. But I never thought the peel too could be utilized into preparing tasty chutney. I came across this dish in a cookery magazine. This chutney is popular in Andhra cuisine known as Aratikaya Tokkalu Pachadi .
I was little skeptical about the main ingredient(peel) as it sounded weird. But my understanding was wrong as it turned out to be very delicious.I have prepared chutney using ridge gourd and pumpkin peel, but this chutney is my most favorite amongst all. Hence I always reserve the peel to make this flavorsome dish.
