MUSTARD SEEDS- 1 TSP

METHI SEEDS- 1 TSP

CUMIN SEEDS- 1 TSP

ASAFOETIDA- 1 TSP

ONION- 2 NOS

TURMERIC POWDER-1 TSP

SAMBAR POWDER-6 TSP

TOOR DHAL- 1 CUP

TAMARIND- GOOSEBERRY SIZED


SALT ACCORDING TO TASTE

OIL FOR COOKING-1 1/2 TBSP

PREPARATION

Wash drumstick chop and steam along with toor dhal and keep it aside,chop onion and keep it aside.Extract tamarind syrup by soaking tamarind in hot water.In a pan heat 1 1/2 tbsp oil and saute onion   add tamarind syrup and boil till the raw smell goes off.Add steamed toor dhal and drumstick over this and add turmeric powder,sambar powder,salt and keep stirring and cook for 3 minutes.At last add the seasoning and garnish with cilantro.
