INGREDIENTS TO GRIND

COCONUT GRATED- 1 TBSP

PEPPER CORNS- 1 TSP

ONION MEDIUM- 1 NO


OTHER INGREDIENTS
DRUM STICK- 2 NOS

BRINJAL- 2 NOS

ONION BIG- 1 NO

GARLIC CLOVE- 4 NOS

TURMERIC POWDER-1 TSP

SAMBAR POWDER- 6 TSP


TAMARIND- LEMON SIZED

SALT ACCORDING TO TASTE


SEASONING                                                               

SESAME OIL- 1 1/2 TBSP

MUSTARD SEEDS- 1 TSP

FENUGREEK SEEDS-  1 TSP

CUMIN SEEDS- 1 TSP

CURRY LEAVES- 1 SPRIG

PREPARATION

Wash and chop all the veggies and keep it aside.Boil drumstick and keep it aside.Soak tamarind in hot water for 20 minutes and extract tamarind syrup.In a pan heat sesame oil and mustard when it starts to splutter add fenugreek seeds,cumin seeds and curry leaves.Transfer the seasoned ingredients to a plate. In the same pan add 2 tbsp cooking oil add chopped onion, brinjal and boiled drumstick and saute then add sambar powder and saute well for 2 minutes till the sambar powder gets fried along with the veggies.Over this pour tamarind syrup,turmeric powder,salt and boil the tamarind syrup till the raw smell of the syrup goes off.Add the ground paste over the syrup and cook for 3 minutes and switch off.At last add the seasoning.
