SNAKE GOURD KURMA









INGREDIENTS TO GRIND

ONION MEDIUM SIZED-  2 NOS

COCONUT GRATED- 1 TBSP

FENNEL SEEDS- 2 TSP

GINGER PIECE- 1/2 INCH

GARLIC CLOVE- 5 NOS

RED CHILIES- 6 NOS

CURRY LEAVES- 1 SPRIG

CORIANDER POWDER- 2 TSP

OTHER INGREDIENTS

SNAKE GOURD- 300 GRAMS

ONION- 2 NOS


FENNEL SEEDS- 1 TSP

SALT ACCORDING TO TASTE

TURMERIC POWDER- 1/2 TSP  



 








 





 






PREPARATION
 

Steam cook chopped snake gourd and keep it aside.In a pan heat 2 tsp of coconut oil and saute chopped onion,coconut pieces, fennel seeds,coriander powder, ginger piece, garlic pods,red chilies,curry leaves and grind the sauteed ingredients to paste in a mixer grinder and keep it aside. In an another pan add 5 tsp of coconut oil and when the oil is hot add fennel seeds, curry leaves, chopped onion,salt when the onion turns translucent add the ground paste over it add little water ,turmeric powder and saute for 2 minutes.At last add the steamed snake gourd over this saute well till the masala mixes well with the veggie and switch off.
